I'm going to tear down some walls here because, well, I can.

        As a Christian, a White boy, who grew up immersed in the Southern California Mexican/immigrant community and working within an ethnically dominated industry, I have always been a little more sensitive to race related issues than most people who comprise my “racial demographic.” Growing up within a particular “minority” community has given me opportunity to keenly observe the inner workings of a culture quite different from my own. Yet, I can’t say it’s different from my own to any great extent, because I grew up not knowing much of anything else. As far back as I can remember, the Mexican community has always accepted me with no reservations, treating me graciously as one “of their own.” I will put their overwhelming graciousness and hospitality up against any other culture. On occasion, I have sensed faint hostility towards me because of the color of my skin, but have always attributed it to a very small minority within this community. Every society has them.

         I have attended their weddings, been invited to their gatherings and fiestas, been invited to their homes. I have listened to their compelling tales as those who have immigrated from Mexico have described the hardships they have endured to come to "El Norté" on their quest to find a better life. I have been educated at their hand on the corruption and despair that they withstood back in their homeland. I have then listened happily as these, my friends, have rehearsed the details of their citizenship test and swearing in as they have made their decision to become a citizen of America. I still have one of the small American flags that was given to one of them at the ceremony in my work truck, a small gift that has a weighty symbolism. It symbolizes freedom to them, as it does to the rest of the world.

         Growing up this way has been an invaluable experience, a life seasoning that very few gríngos has experienced in such richness and depth. Over the years, on innumerable occasions, I have been entrusted with the peculiar secrets and hidden dreams just such a community holds as they seek to find that self-reliance and independence that is part of living under that freedom. And this “güerro” has been queried many times by these people concerning what is true and what is not true concerning White racism in America and the extent of its reach.  Needless to say, I have never been accused of being a racist, or harboring racial prejudice.  These people respect me too much.  That's the by-product of trust.  

         Being a Christian, and one of Conservative political leanings, I closely watch the trends and directions of the political, social, and legislative forums. As a private citizen, I also closely observe the activities and workings of the Local, State, and Federal law enforcement communities.  Specifically, I closely observe and fellowship with Christians in law enforcement.  I think two of the most spiritually hostile environments a Christian can serve in are the military and law enforcement.  The men and women serving in the military are hard to maintain an ongoing relationship with because of their transitory lifestyle.  Christians in law enforcement are easier to nail down.  Their experiences and trials in their chosen career field are invaluable to me, filled with insight and wisdom.  My closest friends are State and Federal Correctional officers.

     From the background of this life experience, I offer some observations on hate groups, "racism," and the Riverside (CA) Police Department.  The things brought forth in this document are not meant to be all conclusive, as this has turned out to be a much more deep and complex issue than I had imagined.  But I think Christians, and Christians in law enforcement, might benefit from it, hopefully leading to more in depth research into the subject on the part of every individual.

     Ever since the Sixties and the turmoil of that time, and now in the Nineties in an ever increasing way, every time there is a Police involved shooting or confrontation, civil rights leaders and various community activists will seize on the event to protest and decry what they believe to be law enforcement excess in targeting a specific racial group. It’s constantly in the news these days and mentioned on a regular basis in the print media. More and more random shootings, Police and civilian encounters, and assaults and batteries are being classified as “race based hate crimes.”

         Is there an increase in “hate crimes”? Is law enforcement focusing on one or two particular groups of American people simply because of their skin color? I’m not going to waste the reader’s time with mind-numbing figures and purported facts. Most figures like this can be found on the Federal Bureau of Investigations Uniform Crime Reports web site. Most people have already formed opinions from the perspective of their own race based experiences and have their own skewed figures to prove their position. Rather, we are going to approach this whole matter from a Biblical and spiritual perspective.

         I think the Bible is pretty clear on racism, that is, dealing with people on the basis of their skin color and race. Racism and the Bible will be addressed first, and hopefully, we’ll clarify the Christian Churches response to this issue. It is becoming clear at this time, racism will need to be more proactively addressed publicly in the immediate future by the Church leadership.

         Let’s start out with one of the very first “racists” (I’m using the term loosely), and what happened with him. And as Christians, let’s note his response.

PETER ~ THE FIRST “RACIST"?

         In Acts chapter 10, there is the account of a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, “a centurion of the band called the Italian band,” who is described as, “A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.” He was praying and an angel appeared to him with the directions, “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.”

         This gentleman was a Roman Centurion, and an “outsider” to the Jewish world. An Italian. Up to this point, the Christian Jews had no dealings with the citizens of nations outside Jerusalem and Israel in their, now spiritual, walk with Jesus Christ.

         While this was happening, the Lord was about to challenge Peter on his heretofore cultural misgivings on interacting with Gentile races. The Jews were mandated under Old Testament law to refrain from mingling with Gentile races, as in the Old testament this was meant to keep the Jewish culture pure from the sins of the surrounding nations. Mainstream Christianity understands that the reason why the Lord demanded His people maintain a separation from the nations around them was to protect them from the pollution's of the idolatry and sin that these nations practiced.

         "When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee." (Deuteronomy 18: 9-12)

         This same Old Testament doctrine of separation of the people of God (the Church) from unbelievers is mirrored by Paul in II Corinthians 6:17. It's to protect the Church from the influences of Satan, the god of this world, and of sin. The metaphors of the children of Israel in the Old Testament, as a "type" of Church, and the command of separation from unbelievers was the same.

         But with the initiation of the New Testament, and the battle against evil being brought into the spiritual realm, the Lord was about to initiate some new tactics.

         The text continues,

         “On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

         "Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate....” (Acts 10:9-17)

         In the continuing account, we read that Peter was clearly directed by the Lord to go with the people that Cornelius had sent, which he did. When he was come into the house of Cornelius, they greeted him warmly and Peter said to them, “...Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.” When they asked him to speak what they were waiting to hear from the Lord, “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” And he preached to them the Gospel.

         As he preached to them, the Holy Spirit fell on all of them, which amazed the Jews who were with Peter. “And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.” It’s important to understand their genuine shock at this point. They were completely amazed that a Gentile race was having a tangible and real experience with their God! It was revolutionary!

         Yet, when Peter returned to Jerusalem, he had some explaining to do. It records in Acts chapter 11 that, “when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them....” (Verses 2-4)

         Peter than rehearsed the previous events in detail, and as they listened, then “When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

         Their heretofore racial “prejudice” and separation was now Divinely “pulled” by the directive of the Lord Himself as He ordered them out into the whole world to fulfill their divine commission. (Mark 16:15) Peter was the first one to change his race based thinking, as under the Lord’s clear leading and mandate, he toed the line of the Lord’s new directive. The Old Testament cultural and social wall between the Jews and the Gentiles had been Sovereignly removed at this point. The last social barrier for the widespread proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was now completely blown down by the Power of the Holy Spirit. From this point the Gospel would spread like a wildfire through the whole known world at that time, as recorded, “...These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also....” (Acts 17:6)

       "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common...."

         Now to some finer points of racism in society, as addressed throughout the New Testament.

BIBLICAL/NEW TESTAMENT RACE RELATIONS.

         The Bible says,

         "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," (Ephesians 1: 3-5)

         Note carefully it says "He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world." This was before there was anything such thing as "race." The Lord chose us before the foundation of the world, before the disbursement of mankind at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11) which was, I believe, the creation of the first races of man. We know there are Christians all over the world from every country and every race. Dealing with a brother or sister Christian from the aspect of their skin color is spiritual blindness, as “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24) See also Matthew 25:34, Revelation 13:8, and 17:8

        "Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." (I John 2:8-11)

         Also,

         "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galations 3: 27-28)

         Note carefully it says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek. . ." and as inferred, neither Black nor White, nor Asian or Mexican/Latino or _______ (fill in the blank). It clearly states we are all one in Christ Jesus. It doesn't leave any room for debate or contention. It shows that, in Him, no one is better than the other, that anybody teaching a particular race superiority (Black or White), no matter how skillful their exegesis and historical commentary, regardless of their title or degrees, is clearly teaching against the all inclusiveness and oneness of the true Church in Jesus Christ.

         Also,

         ". . . For thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. . ." (Revelation 5:9)

         And,

         “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. ” (Revelation 7:9-10)

         This verse depicts the redeemed standing before the Throne of Heaven, in the end, saved out of every nation and race through the earth. It is clear from these verses that Christianity is not an exclusively “western religion” as erroneously portrayed by some. It is a religion, a relationship with the Lord of Heaven, for the whole world, with distinctly Jewish roots. All inclusive. No nation or race left out. There will be no temples, or mosques, or churches, or denominations in Heaven. There isn't going to be any "white" neighborhoods in heaven, no "barrios," nor will there be any "black" neighborhoods. There won't be any "bad" neighborhoods that you learn to avoid through reputation or bias, as things such as racism and racial bias will finally evaporate in the blistering Light of His Presence in the spiritual Third and Forth Dimensions.

         Also,

         "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14)

         Note carefully it says the Gospel will be, ". . .preached in all the world for a witness to all nations." All being all inclusive. The Gospel was given to all men and women of all nations, regardless of their race, religion, or nationality. These are just a small sampling of many more texts in Scripture which clearly stand against any racial division or schism in the Body of Christ. How about all of I Corinthians chapter 12 being looked at from a “race” perspective? Again, it mentions there “is neither Jew nor Greek,” knocking down the wall of racial separation.

         In light of all these irrefutable proofs, that's why I think it strange the racism that existed in the early years of our country. This nation was clearly founded on Christian principles, yet the history of the Civil Rights movement was clearly a response to an oppressive status quo which prevailed in American society until only forty or fifty years ago. When I asked a Southern Historian about this same thing, he accurately assessed the situation by simply saying,

       “Racism is a sin. It is not a crime for which God has appointed a penal sanction for the civil magistrate. I agree that all race problems have been exacerbated by the national government. In spite of 36 years of civil rights law, we still have race problems.” And, “Racism is not a typically Southern phenomena. Racism just seems to get more publicity in the South. It is the normal state of unregenerate man to hate those who are different.”

         I agree.

         So what’s the answer to all this, what seems to be an ever increasing emphasis on "racism" and "hate crimes" in American social life? Turning to the U.S. Federal government instead of the Lord, as has become the trend on many issues, to fix an exclusively moral problem? We see where that is quickly getting us. William Penn said, “Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.” What about submitting to the Word of God?

"BLACK" CHURCHES, "WHITE" CHURCHES AND AMERICAN HISTORY.

         A phenomenon I have grown up with, as have a lot of other people, is the social fact of "white" and "black" Christian churches.  As we have proven from the clear Word of God, He doesn't deal with people from the temporal aspect of race and ethnicism.  So why do the people of God continue to, by and large, fellowship with others of their own ethnic background to the exclusion of others?  Spanish, Korean, and Japanese speaking fellowships have some justification simply because of the communicational hurdles.  Thus, their existence can be understood.  But Blacks and Whites have no such communications hurdles to overcome.

         People growing up in America these past four and five decades have pretty much grown comfortable with this irregular "status quo."  Yet, this "don't rock the boat" attitude concerning this racial divide has by and large left a fertile ground for a lot of the racial conflicts we see happening today to blossom, fanned into flame by many people, from politicians to purported ministers to the liberal mainstream press, to advance their own political, warped, and unBiblical agendas.

     In a recent article in Parade Magazine (6/05/99), Judge Gabrielle Kirk McDonald, president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia—the court in The Hague, Netherlands, said this about the race based conflict in Yugoslavia:

     "I know that, although there were some ethnic tensions, people were living in relative harmony, McDonald says.  "What we've seen is the engineering of these old hatreds for the benefit of the political aspirations of leaders whose greed for power and territorial gain led them to incite hate...."

     Have any white ministers who have grown up in the last three to four decades even taken a moment to exploit the informational resources of the Internet to discover why this tolerated racial divide exists?  To contact their fellow ministerial brethren within their sphere of influence, whether White or Black, to perhaps plan a joint outreach to their communities to confront this decidedly demonic assault on the unity of the Church? Have any white ministers even  taken a moment to do a little research to see why the black community in America feels the way they do about this; why this relative silence from the majority of big pulpits in America is viewed as tacit complicity and endorsement by the black Christian community?  Especially concerning "Christian" philosophy based hate groups.

        It really is horribly fascinating, traveling back into the dark history of our country's far and more recent past to the endings/beginnings of this unspoken, and unchallenged, racial divide between Christian people.  The hostility the Black community faced in their path to freedom was clear.  Has the American nation always upheld this ideal of racial equality? Nope. But I am not responsible for the sins of this nation's past. Truth is not disqualified by the gross mishandling of it by sinful men. Nevertheless, the divide caused by this has persisted ever since.  Has anybody even thought about attacking it and tearing it down; breaching the divide?

         Yet, today, the Church in America waits for those Black and White leaders who will stand once again against the prevailing status quo.  Christian White ministers, shaking off this cavalier, careless position that racial equality is a “given” in the true Church of Jesus Christ and racial peace something that will simply “happen” without more direct action on their part; Christian Black ministers, standing in a superior position of racially equal Biblical fact, not leaning on any thing else, like exploitive politicians and the intrusive and paternalistic U.S. Federal government, to achieve social (temporal) equality, except the Powerful Arm of God.

         Black and White Christian ministers need to quit being wet noodles and show some backbone, stand up against the status quo and get past this clearly demonically energized preoccupation with race, and stand together in defense of the Gospel and the Truth. Our communities don't need “healing,” they need acknowledgment of the sinful nature of men, repentance and obedience to the clear Word of God.

WHO IS THE REAL ENEMY?

         “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [expose] them.” (Ephesians 5:11)

         View the newer heresies of “Christian Identity” and the doctrines of the “British Israelites” which teach a superiority of the white Christian man over all the other races, that they are the “New Israel.” Of course, as with most false doctrines, they pick out some places of the canon of Scripture and completely ignores the rest. Most of the their philosophies are pretty contorted and tortured in their exegesis; a good portion of their theology based on the separation of Israel from the races of the world.  That was terminated, as we showed in the previous account of Peter in his outreach to the Italian Centurion and his house.  As we have pointed out previously, the New Testament is unequivocally clear in it’s directives on race relations.

         Concerning false doctrine, Jesse Penn-Lewis said in her book, “War on the Saints,”

         “Scripture is generally used as the basis of these teachings and is skillfully woven together like a spider's web, so that the untrained are caught in the snare. Single texts are wrenched from their context and placed in the perspective of truth; sentences are taken from their correlative sentences; or, texts are carefully picked out from over a wide field and netted together so that they appear to give a full revelation of the mind of God—but the intervening passages, giving historical setting, actions, and circumstances connected with the speaking of the words, and other elements that give insight on each separate text, are skillfully dropped out.

         In this way, a wide net is made for the unwary or untaught in the principles of Scriptural exegesis, and many a life is sidetracked and troubled by this false use of the Word of God.”

         For those who understand the makeup of the spiritual realm, it’s easy to understand how Satan and his demons are obviously behind the current racial turmoil that is starting to boil over in this country. For those who understand the spiritual realm and how Satan works behind the scenes to execute his long term goals and objectives: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” (John 10:10)  For those who do not give much credit to the enemy's workings in the spiritual realm, perhaps dismissing it as “superstition,” like good little Post-Modernist progressive thinkers, let’s reveal anyway how he covertly deploys his ideas of hate, racial destruction, and conflict into the temporal realm, the political and social forums of the nation and world.

SOCIALIST/MARXIST ORIGINS OF MOST HATE GROUPS.

fascism (fash'is em) n. (sometimes cap.) 1. a totalitarian governmental system led by a dictator and emphasizing aggressive nationalism, militarism, and often racism. 2. the philosophy, principles, or methods of fascism. – fas'cist, n., adj.

Some Definitions On Other "isms."

         First, the American based Aryan Nations and the White Nationalist groups have been portrayed in the broadcast and print media as part of the “radical right,” or ultra-fringe members of the Conservative/Christian world. This is a blatant falsehood perpetrated by the subversive Liberal/Socialist/Marxist elements working within American society and especially the subversive media. In fact, they would aggressively seek to distance themselves from the Socialist origins of Neo-Nazism, as this would ruin their objectives to connect these movements with Biblical Christianity (right-wing fundamentalist extremists?) and thus to discredit it in the eyes of the world. Christian people should rest confident that these particular race based groups have no part nor parcel of the Church at all.  They use a form of Christianity as a front to legitimatize their beliefs in their own minds and in a bid to reach more recruits.

       As an aside, a friend sent this to me, looking at racism from quite another perspective:

         “So the "deist" wants to recognize John Scopes. Gary DeMar made this observation recently in an article:

         "The Darwinian worldview as expressed by Haeckel's Monist League was comprehensive in interpreting all of life in terms of evolution. The effects on Germany, as all of history attests, was disastrous. "Otto Ammon, a leading racial anthropologist, wrote that the laws of nature were the laws of society. 'Bravery, cunning and competition are virtues...Darwin must become the new religion of Germany...the racial struggle is necessary for mankind.'"[9]

         Richard Hofstadter, in Social Darwinism in American Thought, demonstrated "that Darwinism was one of the chief sources of racism and of a belligerent ideology which characterized the last half of the 19th century in Europe and America...."[10]

         The theory of evolution became the philosophy of life for militant atheism in the 20th century. Few people realize that Hitler, in bringing about World War II, merely put into practice what he believed was human evolution. Darwin and Nietzsche were the two philosophers studied by the National Socialists in working out the philosophy set forth in Hitler's Mein Kampf. In this work Hitler asserted that men rose from animals by fighting. It was the contention of the Fuehrer that this struggle, wherein one being feeds on another and the blood of the weaker is the life of the stronger, has continued from time immemorable and must continue until the most highly advanced branch of humanity dominates the whole earth.

         The biology text used in the Dayton school system that precipitated the infamous Scope's evolution trial in 1925 was George William Hunter's Civic Biology (1914), the best-selling text at the time. Hunter's work was "heavily laced with the scientific racism of the day. According to Hunter, 'simple life forms of life on earth slowly and gradually gave rise to those more complex.' Humans appeared as a progressive result of this evolutionary process, with the Caucasian race being 'finally, the highest type of all.'"[11]

         Racism, violence, and indiscriminate killing have been with man since Cain killed Able. We cannot claim, therefore, that evolution gave rise to these practices. Evolution legitimates certain violent behavior because of its "scientific" credentials. In 1889, Max Nordau understood that Darwinism would be used as a justification for savagery: "Since the theory of evolution has been promulgated, they can cover their natural barbarism with the name of Darwin and proclaim the sanguinary instinct of their inmost hearts as the last word of science."[12]

         In the words of C.S. Lewis, "We make young people without chests and we expect of them virtue and enterprise."

         The "deist" wants to glorify racism.”

         Thus we see the inevitable result of the teaching of evolution and why the Christian world and the Bible is so contrary toward it.

         To be fair, the White man doesn’t have an exclusive corner on race based hate or divisiveness either. Hate and racism is inherent to the unregenerate heart of man, regardless of their racial and ethnic makeup. The Socialist/Marxist origins don’t only apply to White Supremacist based race/hate groups but also Mexican, as evidenced in the newer American SouthWest race based separatist movements of,

[Note: These groups in no way represent the communities they purport to represent as a whole].

         View these sites. Read what they believe. All are based in some form of Socialist/Marxist/Leninist thought. All are overtly hostile towards Christianity and capitalism and free markets as a form of commerce. All are overtly hostile towards the American Constitutional form of government and our way of life.

         Yet, as we have shown, Biblical Christianity has the only antidote to this virulent problem in society, that being born again by the Spirit of God.

         “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto the, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

         When man submits himself to the Truth of the Bible and the racial harmony taught therein, then the sin of racism and hate, which is inherent in the heart of man, is rooted out. Thus we see why Satan has initiated such a hostile attack against Christianity in America these past few decades. Biblical Christianity is the only answer to combat racism, not more Socialist inspired governmental decrees.

       They don't want to hear that (obviously).

THE FINAL OBJECTIVE ~ REVOLUTION.

         A basic axiom of Socialism/Marxism is the “revolution.” The past forty to fifty years, since these Marxist activists penetrated our universities and started preaching their own religious philosophies of Liberalism and Socialism, you can see that many of these race based activist groups were spawned in that time. On one racist website, they clearly state under “Why We Exist:”

         “To elevate the revolutionary consciousness of our people by exposing the true nature of the so-called “United States” and its institutions. To promote revolutionary nationalism, self-determination and scientific socialism as the best working alternatives to our current conditions. To establish institutions, publications and services based on the principles of revolutionary nationalism, self-determination and Scientific Socialism in order to serve and unify our people.”

         They also state: “As a result of pro-Amerikkkan brainwashing, we as a people have been trained to believe that the “Amerikkkan way” is our best and only choice. All other philosophies, forms of government, and ideals (such as self-determination and socialism) have been manipulated by the white power structure into things viewed as “dangerous” and “evil.” The Amerikkkan system has actively discouraged us from seeking any alternatives to our current situation.”

         And another went so far as to say: “Those institutions which are fattened by our brothers to provide employment and political pork barrels for the gringo will do so only as acts of liberation and for La Causa. For the very young there will no longer be acts of juvenile delinquency, but revolutionary acts.” [emphasis mine]

         Oh, wonderful. A bunch of juvenile delinquents already being raised in a vacuum of morals given the green light by role models in their community to go on an unfettered crime spree. And people wonder why the Juvenile Halls are filled to capacity, why more and more we read news accounts of teenagers firing on Police officers during street contacts. Thus is the legacy of godless Socialism. More ruined lives left in its wake.

         That’s nothing but basic Nazism and fascism dressed up under a different guise, promoting a different races' superiority over another, and pretty close to the initial tactics of Hitler in his rise to power. It's just a different race super-imposed over the same warmed over philosophy.  I think it ironic that this was written and is being promoted by somebody who is living in America partaking of the very freedoms they are actively seeking to destroy. Most, when their mirror of Nazism is challenged, are quick to hide behind the American Constitution’s First Amendment guarantee of free speech.

         It goes to show the contorted thinking of these misguided people. Their hypocrisy is staggering. The collective history of this century undeniably proves the utter failure of Socialism/Marxism as a credible/viable political philosophy; massive bloodshed and devastated nations left in ruins. Yet they continually seek to implement their “revolution” in all quarters in America, from activism and protests on the streets, to electing their Marxist/Liberal/Socialist leaders to high office in the American legislatures. And so they have in these recent years.  The newer generations coming up are by and large oblivious to the history of just recent past, so blindly follow these people down their road to ruin because they have no background in political philosophy to contrast this against.

         It also becomes a little more clear why ultra-Liberal Democrat Representative Maxine Waters delivered her irrational and completely unfounded tirade against the Riverside Police Department (CA) during the protests surrounding the Tyisha Miller shooting which took place in that city. She railed on and denounced the RPD in her harangue, accusing the departmental personnel of being the most vile of racists in existence, and thereby, implicating the whole community which the departmental personnel represented. I was personally bewildered and appalled at her racist accusations, as well as were, I’m sure, the Black and Hispanic officers on the force. It would be obvious to any objective observer that there were ulterior motives at work here. Riverside County has to be one of the most integrated, culturally diverse counties in California.  Why were these people so vigorously going out of their way to try and convict this department of racism and criminal behavior, through the media, in the eyes of the nation? Thus my personal intrigue and investigation into the matter.

       The only reason this one unfortunate incident happened was the lack of training, which is the responsibility of senior command, on the part of the officers handling the very unique situation which presented itself that night—with the ensuing results. In the one single moment where reason prevailed in this conflict, RPD Sgt. Wally Rice stated before the Riverside City Counsel, concerning the training issue,

     "In six months, no one has come forward with a better plan than the officers exercised," he said. "If this event were to replicate itself again tonight, I would not know what to tell my officers to do."

     His plea was largely ignored by the community activists.  Reason didn't prevail here, the advancement of a covert agenda prevailed here. 

     Since then, in the news media and mainstream local paper, there have been numerous accusations of "alleged" quotes and statements made by an increasing number of members of this Police force. The context in which these "alleged" quotes were made are, of course, disregarded, or even the simple fact if they are even true. Even now, these insinuations have been levelled against an officer who I know for a fact is a qualified Christian that the Lord has deployed into this particular situation to oppose the enemy's advance. But again, those are the enemy's tactics.  It's basic character assassination in the biased liberal press; the accused unable to defend themselves in the eyes of the community.  Their reputation has been slandered.  If you can destroy the man, you can destroy the message.  This was used against Martin Luther King Jr. also.  This tactic has been brilliantly exposed in this one article:

     I strongly suggest you read it if you are a Christian, whether in law enforcement or not.  This might be applying to all of us in the not too distant future.

     Note well in the writer's one statement:

     “Accusation is one thing, proof of guilt another. (Today, even a conviction is becoming a less and less reliable indicator of guilt.) The government's Ceausescu tactics won't work unless the community abandons the victim. Oppressors need the protection of the dark: they can't stand the light. It never hurts to protest oppression by insistent but respectful letters to your state and federal representatives and senators as well as judges and prosecutors.”

     It is imperative that the Church, today, resist these incursions and attempts to divide them and sow doubt.

THE FIRST TARGET IN A “REVOLUTION”? THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY.

         Fascist/Socialist utopians, as the aggressors, in initiating their objectives of revolution in America, will target the law enforcement community as “the oppressive enforcers of the status quo,” as one has stated. It’s always the cops that get caught in the middle of the repercussions of society’s sins and turmoil. In Representatives Waters case, it was amazing that an elected official of the U.S. government would be inciting their constituency to riot and rebel against and defy the very authority that they represented. She did the same thing at the onset of the L.A. Riots.  However, as we have pointed out, those are their initial tactics.

        Thus, as has been pointed out, we see the very same thing happening in America also, with these various leftist activists seeking to foment the same race based hatred to advance their own nefarious Socialist agendas.

         So what's their strength in America? They are finding a willing and open forum amongst the continually growing poor and lower middle class, the "cauldron of discontent" as the FBI terms it. That's why they specifically target for recruitment the minority and immigrant community, giving them the hard sell on their being "victims" of the White man’s oppression (or the minority/immigrants encroachment in the case of White Supremacism) and the need for them to be led by these revolutionaries. They poison people’s minds into convincing them they are oppressed under the White man’s “system,” yet never clarify exactly what or why it’s classified as exclusively a “white” system.  Then we have "mighty Whitey" on the other side blaming a host of society's ills on the non-White community.  They whip up and manipulate man’s natural disposition to be dissatisfied with what he has; to be envious of what other people have; to rebel against authority.

        To simply hate people because they are different from themselves.

         The naive, the rebellious, the gullible, and the politically unsophisticated follow. People within a particular ethnic community, without the necessary objective/critical thinking skills and lack of political history and insight, let alone a Biblical footing, have no foundation or background to compare this rhetoric against. So they are easily duped into following these purported leaders in their delusions of grandeur and courageous "heroism" against "oppression."

         Thomas Jefferson said, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."

         The Bible says,

         “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment....” (Exodus 23:2)

         “If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause ... My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.” (Proverbs 1:11-16)

         Class warfare? Economic equality is a delusion. True, the Bible commands, “Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:9) But still, Jesus Himself said, “For ye have the poor always with you....” (Matthew 26:11) Communism/Socialism as a political ideology destroys personal initiative and drive, as these "wealth distribution" schemes feed off the industrious and seeks once again to deal with an unregenerate aspect of man’s fallen nature by man’s own efforts.  And it always fails.  History proves this, even in light of these Marxist’s insistent revisionism.

        Socialists and Marxists don't believe in God. The "state" is God. Humanism is their religion. Yet as Christians, we know there is only one God, and the people who founded this nation, it's Constitution, and our whole form of government and society had their faith only in Him. A Christian trusts in the providence and Sovereignty of God, and not the "state" or the government.  That was a basic character trait of the founding fathers of the American nation.

        "...They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God." (Zachariah 13:9)

        "We've staked the whole future of American civilization not on the power of government, far from it.  We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us . . . to govern ourselves according to the commandments of God.  The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded." (President James Madison)

         On the other hand, it's unfortunate the Republican party, a purported bulwark of Conservative philosophy, has become known as the party of the "rich" over the years and slid into compromise. The American trans-national corporations wield their influence over the global market place and political arena, and manipulate and exploit it, with their vast wealth, at the expense of the poor. It leaves a fertile ground for these types of ideologies to take root. I've personally dealt with one such corporation and their treacherous and coercive tactics.

     Chuck Colson said in a recent Breakpoint commentary, concerning a well known online booksellers' decision to sell child porn: "[Their] decision teaches us two important lessons. First, it illustrates how important moral restraints are to capitalism. Capitalism is the freest and best economic system known, but without respect for moral truth, it can quickly degenerate into a system of pure avarice. In today's relativistic environment, these moral restraints are being weakened--and thus capitalism, as in this case, becomes exploitative.

     The granting of “most favored nation” status to China recently is another good example of such greed and long-term blindness. That's because it's an “emerging market.” The heck with what's right, we gotta' make that almighty buck! Some proponents say, “We are exporting freedom,” as if the American dollar has anything to do with freedom. Who cares if they are killing and persecuting Christians and other "undesirables"? Capitalism without morality and accountability is an open door for exploitation. In this, the Socialists/Marxists have strengthened their position.

         The Bible clearly states, “He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.” (Proverbs 14:31) And “He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.” (Proverbs 22:16)

      James further condemns this exploitation of the poor by the rich in saying, “Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth....” (James 5:1-6)

      This is just a small sampling of how the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its entirety addresses the bulk of the social ills which relentlessly plagues us. The problem is the rebellious heart of man doesn’t want to submit to God, His revealed Word, and His clear directives for successful living.

     Even further, how many of us, regardless of our racial makeup or social background, can easily submit to the Biblical directive to, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.” (Romans 13:1-5)

      To be clear, I'm not saying there won't always be problems with abuse of authority and corruption in professional law enforcement. That will be a never ending problem with the field, as they have to recruit from the human race. Such is the heart of unregenerate man.  It's great to see such a formidable Christian law enforcement presence in the midst of that, though. These people should be vigorously prayed for and supported so that they may stand against any corruption within their agencies.

     The men and women of professional law enforcement should not be stereotyped because of the unlawful behavior of the few.  Professional law enforcement accountability should be approached with a balanced perspective, and attacking the American LE field to advance a particular man made political ideology condemned.

IMMEDIATE AND LONG-TERM THREAT ASSESSMENT.

      First, this issue is continuing to gain national attention, as these Marxist/Socialist, ultra-Leftwing extremists and “race hustlers” continue to whip up and exploit the innocent and unsophisticated among their constituencies to build their little “empires.” Satan, working through these anti-Bible, anti-Christian movements, will continue to seek to harass and manipulate Christian people through the aspect of their particular racial/ethnic background in a continuing bid to undermine the cohesiveness and unity of the Church, thereby presenting a credible threat to the continual effective working and outreach of the Church to the nation.  It is also a transparent attempt to hobble and oppose the work of revival in American society, a Holy Spirit inspired return to morality, integrity, accountability, and values as laid out in the Bible.

      As stated, I believe the need for Christian ministers to start addressing this issue is becoming more imperative, and not something “that will take care of itself.” Most Christians are unsuspecting of the forces behind this continuing incline towards racial division throughout America. A lack of Biblical clarification by qualified Christian ministers of all racial backgrounds on this issue in the Christian public forum leaves a vacuum for the enemy to interpose a wide array of heretical convictions and ideas throughout not only the Church, but the social and political forum as well.

     "It is the duty of the clergy to accommodate their discourses to the times, to preach against such sins as are most prevalent, and recommend such virtues as are most wanted." ~ John Adams, Second President of the United States.

     Christian ministers, of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, need to preach the Gospel, and that undiluted and unfiltered through any particular ungodly and man-made political or social ideology.

     Jesus said, " Follow me...." (Matthew 4:19)  Not some man made social ideology.

     Paul said, "...Be not ye the servants of men." (I Corinthians 7:23)  Neither of their weird political philosophies.

     President Ronald Reagan, in his famous speech of June 12, 1987, directed towards General Secretary Gorbachev outside the the Brandenburg Gate, West Berlin, Germany, said, "Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

     I say, too, to the Christian ministers of the American nation today, tear down these walls! This racial division within the true Church in this nation have stood too long! We are the mediators of racial unity in this world, not the corrupt governments of man or their skewed social engineering schemes. We have dropped the ball in this area, and they have usurped our rightful position!

     So retake this lost ground, and tear down these walls!

     Second, these race-based political movements, unless opposed more aggressively on moral grounds by the Church and her leadership, will continue to present a threat to the day to day safety of men and women of law enforcement, if not the Church as a whole, (as we have witnessed in the one-sided bias evident in the recent publication of "Project Megiddo" by the Federal Bureau of Investigation).  If we can't overcome our unjustified differences to deal with these moral problems, they will.

         I can not emphasize this enough.

         The rhetoric and terminology some of these groups are employing mimics perfectly the same invective, for example, that the Palestinian Liberation Organization and HAMAS use against the Israeli nation to promote their own particular political agenda.   We'll see, more and more, these goofy, weak-minded little gang members choosing to shoot it out with the Police because they have been brainwashed into thinking they are Guerrillos de Aztlan fighting against an unseen oppressor they are convinced “is holding them back,” and “holding them down,” instead of the egos and personal agendas of the “community activists” exploiting them, and their blood, to advance their own self interests.

       Yet, their philosophies are so extreme, their political objectives so incredible and irrational, and their race-based agendas so offensive to the bulk of American society as a whole, that the advancement of their objectives will no doubt quickly meet some substantial opposition, even from within the very communities they purport to represent.

        It only leaves to reason that the ensuing frustration could very well tempt the core hardline extremists to start to utilize more overt and dangerous terrorist tactics to advance their movements.

         Third, the militant/activist homosexual community will continue to try and attach their own agenda and life-style choice to the issue of Civil Rights. This is a transparent attempt to advance and normalize their immoral lifestyle within mainstream society as a whole, and to force the Church, through government decree, to accept their unBiblical lifestyle choice. The father of a Christian friend sent this,

        “Basic rights such as freedom of religion, right to pursue happiness and other rights are enjoyed already by all. There are laws on the books now to protect gays as any other group of people. Hate crime laws come to mind. The only problem is that the gay groups want to equate their LIFESTYLE with crimes against religion, sex etc. They don't seem to understand that a lifestyle is not the same thing. They want special laws only for them as a minority group. A lifestyle has never been and should never be protected as a special group. They should live their lives and stop trying to push their agenda. A little step in the door now and they will want to open the door wide.”

CONCLUSIONS.

         Until then, I would encourage Christian people to not permit election/poll driven political parties and subversive activists' tactics and conduct to drive a wedge between them and their friends of different racial and cultural backgrounds. Rather, we should oppose and expose them and their tactics for what they are. People like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. were Christian people who hazarded their lives by taking a stand for what they believed in. I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been for them to stand against the tides of the times, in the face of such open hostility. Racial peace in American society should be permitted to take its natural course and racial tensions not continually whipped up and exploited to advance a politician's or special interest groups agenda.  In America today, the conflict over multiculturalism and “religious plurality” is a challenge firmly addressed in the Bible.

         2000 years ago, the Lord directed the Apostle Peter to overcome the wall of racial and social separation, which to that point had kept Israel apart from the morally corrupting influence of the world around them. Peter, in obedience to His clear mandate and empowered and protected by the Holy Spirit, stepped out against the current status quo, to bring the Gospel to a culture and race quite different from his own.  The ensuing results were a wide open missionary field that the Holy Spirit exploited to its fullest extent. The Gospel, in that short time, was able to impact the known world in the most profound way.

         Hopefully today, Black, White, and Brown, Spirit-filled American Christian ministers, able to discern the times and trends of society and recognize that Satan and his angels are trying to rebuild those same walls once again, will move together to stand against this.  Hopefully today, American Christian ministers will lift up the unity of the Body of Christ (I Corinthians 12:12), defy the forces of darkness which seek to emphasize and divide people through their racial background, promote class warfare and ethnic conflict and, as Peter and the early Church did, seize the opportunity to bring the undiluted, trans-national, Gospel of Jesus Christ to this country and world. Today, we are in a very unique position to do just that.

       And until then, I would encourage the Christian men and women of professional law enforcement to stand steady in Him.  The Riverside PD, and indeed, law enforcement nationwide, has endured much trouble these past few years, standing in the gauntlet of turmoil generated by “the culture wars,” the repercussions of the sinful rebellion of a nation teetering on the brink of anarchy.  As usual, professional law enforcement is the “Thin Blue Line” between peace and order, the innocent, defenceless and law abiding, and chaos, bloodshed, and ruin.  May they continue to be a witness, not only to their unbelieving peers and the world, but as metaphors of the restraining influence of the Christian in society, to the Church at large, as they unyieldingly seek to prevail in the unique field into which they have been called.

       "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

        But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ." (I Peter 3:12-16)
