[TNIV] Mainstream Christianity in America, up to this point, has not paid attention to the work of the translators in generating the blizzard of Bible versions produced over the last thirty to forty years. It is about time they did. The Bible is being deconstructed. The Word of God has met liberal, humanist, Post-modernist, cultural-Marxist controlled, politically-correct, corporate America. The evidence on what I found is listed below. The conclusions are irrefutable.

I Now Pronounce You Human and Human: How Gender-Neutral Bible Translations Prepared the Way for the Christian Acceptance of Gay Marriage -  "The first English Bible translation to mandate the use of gender-neutral language was the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)—a mandate that called for the altering of well over a thousand verses. It was later followed by the New Living Translation (NLT), the Contemporary English Version (CEV), and the Common English Bible (CEB). Today's New International Version (TNIV) revised the NIV in strict conformity with the rules of gender-neutral usage. TNIV: TRANSLATION TREASON -  Because of the length of the article, we’ve broken it up into several sections. I would strongly encourage you to prayerfully and carefully read each section.
TNIV & THE LORD JESUS -  The cornerstone of the Christian faith is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not His teachings, not His morals, not His miracles, not His example – but HIM.
TNIV & CHRIST -  Another deliberate and confusing mistranslation is the Greek word "Christos". The Greek word "Christos" is always translated (or actually transliterated) as "Christ".

TNIV & MAN -   Since the 60's the radical feminists have been screaming and whining that sexist, male chauvinist word 'man' has just got to go. Today, we no longer have a postman, but a letter carrier; the policeman is now a police officer; the businessman is a businessperson; a fireman is a firefighter; our garbage man is a garbage collector, chairman is a chairperson, on and on.
TNIV & THE MISSING FATHERS -  One of the major problems facing America today is fatherless families. Today, fathers are an endangered species. It's gotten so bad, President Bush and Congress have proposed "buy back the fathers" programs offering cash incentives just to encourage fathers to marry.
TNIV & SISTERS -  So with over 110 "magic translation" tricks, the TNIV reads "brothers and sisters" – where there ain't no "sister". And there ain't no Greek manuscript in the universe to justify the addition of the word "sisters".
TNIV & MORE BLUNDERS -  SONS OF GOD GONE. . . Don’t look for any "sons of God" in the TNIV – sorry, they’ve all been "neutered".
The New International Version - NIV -  This generation has a hunger for perversion. What was perversion just a few years ago, is now "normal". What was "hiding" in the closet is now "parading" in our streets. Perversion has found a welcome home - from the living room, to the White House; from our churches - to even the word of God!

Dr. Marten Woudstra, Sodomite, Homosexual, and Chairman of the NIV Old Testament Committee -  In the light of the following, I believe it does, as it has now come to light that THE CHAIRMAN OF THE NIV'S OLD TESTAMENT TRANSLATION COMMITTEE, DR. MARTEN H. WOUDSTRA, WAS A HOMOSEXUAL. This is much more serious than Mollenkott's involvement. Here we have one of the leading scholars on the NIV CBT who is a homosexual. Obviously this fact compromises the whole project, especially as this fact was well known by his colleagues for many years. However, only now is this fact coming to the notice of the general public through articles like the one you are reading.
HOMOSEXUALITY AND THE NIV  The information presented here is not all inclusive, but is intended to sound an alarm. If the NIV is your Bible of choice, it would be prudent to look closely in other areas as well, for there are many other subjects handled just as loosely as sodomy. Don't take anyone's word for what God says. Check it out! After all, He'll hold you alone responsible.
VIRGINIA MOLLENKOTT  In the 1970s, Virginia Mollenkott was a consultant to the New International Version translating committee. She was involved with this project through its completion.
The Story of Today's New International Version -  The fully independent body that translated the highly acclaimed NIV is the same eminent group that undertook the work on the TNIV. [Editors Note: Yeah, that's one of the main problems!]

Janet Folger, national director for the Center for Reclaiming America, said, "At least I'm comfortable that this version didn't give God a sex change — that's a good thing." But, she added, "To suggest that women are so frail and insecure that we can't recognize inclusive language, that we need a politically correct crutch, really makes about as much sense as taking a bottle of white-out to the Declaration of Independence because it says 'all men are created equal.' We don't alter historical documents — and I don't believe we should alter the Word of God."
